The Folding Garden Chair That Rain Cannot Ruin - All-White Waterproof with Built-in Drain
Every British garden owner knows the ritual. Sun comes out, you drag the chairs from the shed, wipe off the cobwebs - and then a surprise shower soaks the seats, leaving puddles that take hours to dry. Fabric chairs get sodden and musty. Padded chairs are ruined. And that plastic chair with the dip in the seat? A little pond, every single time.
The Nyxi Premium Folding Chair in All-White Waterproof Design was built for exactly this weather. A fully waterproof seat with a clever built-in drain means rain runs straight through instead of pooling - so five minutes after a shower, the chair is ready to sit on again. And because it folds flat, it works just as hard indoors as out.
The clever bit: the seat's built-in drain lets rainwater flow straight through rather than collecting where you sit. No puddle, no soggy trousers, no tipping the chair upside down before every use.
Why Ordinary Folding Garden Chairs Fail Outdoors
- Fabric seats soak up rain - and stay damp, musty and unusable for days
- Padded chairs cannot live outside - one forgotten shower and the foam never recovers
- Flat plastic seats collect puddles - water sits exactly where you want to
- Bulky garden chairs hog the shed - most outdoor chairs do not fold, so they eat storage space all winter
What Makes This Outdoor Folding Chair Different
From Garden to Poolside - Where This Chair Shines
- Patio and garden - leave it out through summer showers without a second thought
- Poolside and hot tub - wet swimwear and splashes are exactly what the waterproof seat and drain are made for
- BBQs and garden parties - bright white seating that wipes clean after ketchup incidents
- Caravans, boats and camping - a proper supportive seat that shrugs off damp mornings
- Events and weddings - crisp white rows that stay presentable whatever the forecast
- Indoor extra seating - guests at Christmas, desk overflow, hallway - it folds away after
Make It a Garden Table and Chairs Set
Pair four of these with the Nyxi 6ft Folding Table - also all-white and waterproof - and you have a complete garden table and chairs set that handles British weather, seats the whole family, and folds flat into the shed at the end of the season. The matching white finish looks genuinely smart together, and the whole set costs less than most single garden dining chairs.

Waterproof Chair FAQs
Can I leave it outside in the rain?
Yes - the waterproof seat and built-in drain are designed for exactly that. Rain drains straight through and the surface wipes dry in seconds. For the longest life we still recommend storing it away over winter, which takes seconds since it folds flat.
What does the built-in drain actually do?
It lets water flow through the seat instead of pooling on it - so after a shower there is no puddle to tip off, and by the pool or hot tub, splashes and dripping swimwear never collect where you sit.
Can I use it indoors too?
Absolutely - the crisp white design works as spare dining or event seating, and it folds flat for storage like all Nyxi folding chairs.
How do I clean it?
A wipe with a damp cloth is all it needs - mud, sun cream, food and drink all come straight off the waterproof surface.
Is there a warranty?
Yes - it comes with a 1-year warranty, plus free UK delivery and 30-day returns.
