Nyxi 20L Quiet Dehumidifier – 42dB, 5.5L Tank, 5 Modes, R290

Its a decent dehumidifyer, absorbing up to 2l in 24h in our little flat. I was slightly disappointed about no specific laundry mode like my previous one had, but the clothes still dry generally within 24h if they are hung nearby. The biggest drawback for me was, due to the vents veing on the sides rather than the top, and all around, you are supposed to install it 30cm from all directions from the nearest wall or furniture, which makes it a bit difficult to find a decent location for it and it looks a bit odd “in the middle of the room”. I was initially going to put it on the bathroom countertop, but it said not to place on any shelves nor in rooms below 4 m2, so have put it in the lounge instead. Even so, i was impressed how quickly it reacts to changes of moisture in the air, including just turning the tap on in the bathroom to simply wash your hands, or when cooking dinner in the kitchen. The noise levels are fairly comparable to a fridge, even in sleep mode, and it does go quiet when desired moisture level is reached (+\- 3%) so not terrible, but prefer to switch it off during the night unless drying laundry at the time. Also, similar to a fridge, you cannot turn it on within the first 24h, so the coolant can settle first. All in all, decent for the amount paid.

I think this machine is excellent, it’s easy to use and gets the job done. I installed it with washing that I wanted to dry and overnight the washing was dry and the water tank nearly full, it’s great, I love it and would highly recommend this dehumidifier.

Easy to use and good help for moisture in my house

Does the job

Very good item, only floor no way to see it full, which is daft, but does the job..

Bought due to bad leaks in the winter storms. Made such a difference to the room drying out. Quite a few settings and large tank for water. Bought on sale price and would recommend

Easy to move around the house with the casters, not noisy and seems very efficient the few times I have used it, lot cheaper to purchase than my other one.

Very nice quality dehumidifier must have for Dubai

Excellent

brilliant dehumidifier dries clothes helps with condensation

Definitely not whisper quiet!!Very noisy but works well.

I used to suffer from damp and mould until I bought 2 of these, they reliably collect water from the air and I no longer have mould problems, highly recommended

Excellent product, couldn’t ask for better daughter over the moon , very quiet and reall y draws the moisture out

Nice little unit,works very well.

I have a large family and therefore a LOT of laundry! I’ve had this unit for a year now. It’s great, works very well. I use it in my laundry room and have found that laundry is drying in half the time, sometimes even quicker! I have the hose draining into the sink so don’t have to bother with emptying the collection tank. Just have to remember to clean the filter every now and then . I wouldn’t be without a dehumidifier now.

I have two of these now. They are small, compact, quiet and extremely efficient. We have one in a bedroom that's prone to a bit of damp and the other in the utility room where we dry washing and hang wet coats. The on/off button is a little tricky sometimes but nothing to bother about as this is so efficient. The auto function is useful especially in the bedroom as we can just leave it do its thing and only check/empty.

Great little piece of kit, switched it on and away it went, made a huge difference in 24 hours, at first I was emptying the tank but I've found it easier to use the drain and now it just sorts itself out, it kicks in and out as required with no hassel.would definitely recommend this model if you're looking at getting one 👍

Working well but it’s quite noisy. But most dehumidifiers make that level of noise.

Using it already for a month after finding mold in apartment. Dropped humidity from 82% to 58% in small (54 sq m) 1 bedroom. This brand has 20l one, but that one is too noisy. With this one I can even sleep. Working amazing, got the second one.

It’s a good product. I am using it for almost a year now and going to buy another one. The results are good. It reduces the humidity in the room from 80% to almost 50% in a day.

works well easy to use, probebley does take out 20 Litres a day. It comes with a pipe for continueos draining. Carnt fault it.

Purchased as a gift, no adverse comments, 5 stars anticapated

Great little unit, ideal for a bedroom or next to wet clothes on a drying rack. It really does clean the air by removing moisture.

Not bad, quite slow to collect water, very quiet

Efficient and quiet. Really pleased with purchase . Used for about an hour and at least a pint of water in collection tank

This really works! Use when drying laundry and takes most of the water out within a few hours! Also use in bedroom for window that gets a lot of condensation. I've left on for a full day and has completely filled the tank by the time the auto shut off has kicked in!

I use this in a large basement. I place the unit in the basement hall way and it services 3 rooms and a hallway. The house is 200 years old and on first purchase in 2023 the until spent months showing above 60.I persisted with the unit as I had to empty it twice per day, so I knew it was working. After about 4-6 months the unit readings were around 50 and emptying was once per 24-48 hours.I expect my basement has never had a dehumidifier running in the past and it would seem it must have been very damp. This unit has really made a difference. If I knew then what I know now I would have bought a larger tank capacity unit (20L). I will do this when I need to replace the unit in the future. All round for about £100 I have solved an issue with damp in my basement using just this unit!

I was fed up with wet washing hanging around our house and unable to dry outside due to inclement weather, i bought this dehumidifier and was amazed at how quickly my washing dryed, i hung all my washing from a pole in my bathroom and turned on the humidifier and was amazed to find so much water collected in the tank.No more waiting for clothes to dry.I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent job of getting rid condensation, easy to use, great dehumidifier.
